HOALL is based in an atelier beside Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake.
Surrounded by mountains and embraced by nature,
we create in a place rich with quiet inspiration.
We listen to the changing colors of the seasons
and the voices of living things.
Bathed in sunlight by day, and illuminated by moonlight at night.
At the end of each day, we hope to think,
“Ah, today was beautiful.”
To fall asleep excited for tomorrow,
to wake again with hope, and return to creating.
We believe that jewelry born from this cycle of positive energy can stay close to you—and those you cherish—for years to come.
Among countless ways of thinking and living,

Takumi Shimahata
Raised by a sculptor father, I grew up in an environment
where making things was always a part of everyday life.
After graduating from university, I moved to New York to study jewelry making.
Upon returning to Japan, I gained experience with a major jewelry brand,
working across a wide range of creations—from world-class high jewelry and one-of-a-kind pieces to bridal collections.
Alongside traditional craftsmanship, I also explored the development of technologies
that connect advanced techniques with jewelry making.
In the United States, I was involved in jewelry fitting and adjustment for award ceremonies, including the Academy Awards, among many other experiences across the field.
In 2025, driven by creative inspiration and a spirit of innovation in craftsmanship,
HOALL was founded.
Jewelry created through a unified philosophy—from design to production.
