A restaurant owner commissioned this piece as a 10th anniversary gift for his wife.
His wishes were:
- Stones in shades of red, evoking the sun
- Blue, reminiscent of the sky and sea
- Green and brown, inspired by trees and the earth
- An image of a landscape painted by nature itself
With these ideas as our starting point,
I arranged gemstones, like a landscape that had journeyed through time,
upon a gently curved yellow-gold plate.
A special dish from a husband to his wife, made to hold the moments yet to come.

were shaped with the many facets

There are things that have always held our gaze,
bringing us a quiet sense of comfort.
They existed long before we were born,
and will continue far into the future,
holding the same timeless beauty.
From a single round wire,
a “rainbow” was shaped.
The metal was divided, melted,
and carefully formed into shape.
And from it emerged
a shining “star.”
Two pieces, separated from the very same metal,
represent the two children of the person who commissioned this piece.
